Drafting and case file for environmental studies

Draft, approve and audit environmental studies as a team: real-time collaborative editing, 52 templates for the Colombian study types, and a final document in ODT, DOCX and PDF.

Service terms

  • Five roles with permissions defined in the database, not in the code: management, account administration, writer, reviewer with sign-off, and analyst who can only comment. Every action is checked against that table before it runs.
  • Real-time collaborative editing on the same section, with version history, threaded comments and section-by-section approval or rejection.
  • 52 templates for the Colombian environmental study types (EIA, PMA, baseline and DAA) and field forms that return the original Excel file with its layout intact.
  • Final document in ODT, DOCX and PDF in accordance with the Manual de Seguimiento Ambiental de Proyectos, with prior validation of what is missing.
  • The artificial intelligence runs on the service’s own infrastructure, not on an external provider: your account’s information does not leave it.
  • Each account is isolated from the rest, with its own limits on users, projects and storage, and its consumption metered.
  • The audit trail records the state before and after every change, with its author, its address and its time. It is the same on every plan.
  • The infrastructure takes automatic backups of the database and the files, permanently and on every plan.
  • Personal data handled in accordance with Colombia’s Ley 1581 de 2012.

TILAP-IA —Técnica Integral para Laborar y Archivar Proyectos asistidos por la Inteligencia Artificial— solves a concrete problem: an environmental study is a long document, written by several hands and subject to review, where every chapter has an owner, a reviewer and a version that has to stand up to scrutiny later. That work usually ends up spread across loose files nobody manages to reconcile. The platform turns it into a single living case file.

The document is written by several people at once, over the same text and with visible cursors: it is real collaborative editing, not a file people take turns with. Each section carries its version history, its threaded comments, its attachments and its status; approval and rejection happen section by section, with history and batch approval.

It ships with 52 system templates for the study types used in Colombia: 15 for environmental impact studies, 15 for management plans, 12 for baseline studies and 10 for environmental assessment of alternatives, built on the ANLA methodology and the Ministry of Environment guidelines. Templates are written in a strict structured language: if the hierarchy is wrong, the document is rejected rather than silently producing a broken structure.

Field data capture keeps the format whoever requires it expects. Forms are filled in on screen, but the output goes back into the original Excel file with its layout intact —not a generic field-and-value table— and is converted to a faithful PDF. So as not to write one program per form, a language model works out the mapping between each field and its cell just once; that mapping is reviewed and stored, and generating each project is deterministic, without consulting the model again.

The final document consolidates the approved sections and comes out in ODT, DOCX and PDF. Before generating it, the system validates what is missing and which forms are incomplete. The format follows the Manual de Seguimiento Ambiental de Proyectos: justified body text and photographic records at the prescribed size. Every generated version is filed away and downloads on its own or with its annexes.

The templates follow the study types in Colombian environmental regulation, which means the document comes out with the expected structure — not that the system certifies anything before the environmental authority: responsibility for the content lies with whoever signs the study. And what does not exist yet is said plainly — cartography, semantic search across the corpus, a charts dashboard, email notifications and a mobile app are planned and not delivered.

  • Monthly prices per account, in US dollars and with Colombia’s 19 % VAT already included: this is what you pay. The taxable bases are USD 25, 79, 149 and 299.
  • Additional storage: USD 11.90 per month for each 50 GB (taxable base USD 10). You are billed for the space actually used: whatever is deleted stops being charged.
  • Every plan includes the same features —the five roles, collaborative editing, the 52 templates, the forms, the final document, the audit trail and the backups—. What changes between plans is capacity and support response time.
  • Fair use: the service is for environmental projects. Videos are accepted up to 1 GB per file, binary files are not versioned, and it is not a general-purpose backup. In case of abusive use you are warned before uploads are limited.
  • Cancellation: you can export your information before cancelling. Data is kept for 30 days afterwards and then permanently deleted.
  • There is no online payment: the account is opened through direct contact, with the proposal and the terms in writing before any charge.
  • This is a courtesy translation of the offer. The Spanish version of this page is the one that governs the commercial terms.
